Scope and Content

This photograph depicts children sitting in a Vancouver Wireless Station (VWS) parade float in Ladner. The letter "V" can be seen on the side of the float. The photo was taken about 200 yards from Chilukthan Sough/the intersection of Arthur Drive and Ladner Trunk Road. The Thomas Ladner house can be seen in the background on the site that would later become Trenant Park Square shopping centre.

Title based on the content and provenance of the photograph. Date based on writing on the back of the photograph. Written on the back of the photograph is "MS '62". The children likely lived and went to school at the VWS base.
