a) Book. “Above the Sand Heads” by T. Ellis Ladner, 1979. Printed by D.W. Friesen & Sons Ltd., Cloverdale, B.C. Yellow paperback book with black image of Delta Hotel and black text reading “ABOVE THE / SAND HEADS / A vivid account of life on the / Delta of the Fraser River / 1868-1900 / by T. Ellis Ladner”. Black text on spine reads “ABOVE THE SAND HEADS / by T. Ellis Ladner”. Back cover features a black and white photograph of T. Ellis Ladner and his biography. White rectangular label affixed to front cover with text hand written in blue marker reading “Copy 1”. Stamped on front cover on the inside in black ink reads “GRAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL / 10855 – 80th AVENUE / DELTA, B.C.”. Hand-written in pencil on front free end paper reads “DON 1983”. Beige paper pocket affixed to front free end paper with text type-written in black ink reading “T / 971 / LAD / Copy 1 / Ladner, T. Ellis / Above the Sand Heads”. Affixed to the front of the paper pocket is a piece of paper with a line chart and the words “Due Date” printed in black ink. Unused.
